I need a simple application built in any C language, Perl, or Python to run on Windows Server 2003 and even Windows XP Pro. This application will listen on the server's port 162 for incoming SNMP trap messages sent by various end-user CPE. After receiving an SNMP trap, the application should be able to insert a row into a SQL table with the SNMP trap info. If possible, having the option to customize which information is logged to SQL table would be great. This application will ask for MySQL listening port, username, password, database name, table name, etc.
