The state of Massachusetts maintains a publicly accessible site where one can download (for free, without registration) various documents in tiff format. All documents involved and all data involved are matters of public record.
I seek:
(1) a spider to download all available records off that site onto my personal server;
(2) to use the data provided by the site to tag each file with a variety of metadata for later searching; and possibly
(3) to build a searchable database using all available metadata.
#3 may not be much of an issue if the metadata is searchable correctly.
