Using PHP and MySQL, We need a classified ad system where users can post and view the data from other users.
- The system should incorporate or should be easily integrated into a Drupal user system (users/user_roles) and have hooks implemented where one can restrict a given user from performing a given action (post, view, comment, bid, etc)
- There are the following categories currently available: (and it should be relatively simple to ADD new categories)
Timeshare Rentals, Timeshare Sales, Vacation Homes, Campgrounds, RVs
Rent to Own (Which is basically a “Featured” version of the sales/rentals category)
- Use design cues from craigslist and timeshareadvisormagazine.com – User selects a category, many results are displayed, and then the user can decide to add a listing to their shopping cart, or view more details.

- We will also need a basic ability to assign certain ads as “featured” to distinguish them apart
- we will also need some limited ability to "approve" new ads from a separate Administrative section (Adding just a field in the classified table denoting whether it was approved or not should suffice here and I can do the rest
for the backend)
- We will also offer the ability for TIMED posts where clients can submit BIDS (auction-style) .. ex: the customer chooses when the post will expire (3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days) and can see each bid and accept/deny
- The shopping cart will be relatively basic – it is mostly to keep track of user activity for the posters and also so users can “compare” multiple listings at a time.
- Also, the more information recorded about post viewing activity the better.
Additional details like database schema are available upon request.
