I have a requirement for a web based roster swap site where multiple users (up to 1,000) can monthly add their daily shift work rosters for others to see.
A system of user name/password and a system of charging a monthly membership fee will be required to have access to the site.
The users will monthly email their roster to the administrator who will add the data (for each day worked) to the central system for all other members to see (showing the person's day by day shift with details). Fields to be entered will include name, rank, home basing, start/finish times, hours worked, places (locations) worked and equipment type (up to 3 different types of equipment, each user only uses one type of equipment and the site should be filtered into the 3 basic types of equipment).
There should also be a system where members can either email each other directly (linked to outside 3rd party email accounts) or send internal site messages (which will notify the member's 3 rd party email account).
A central discussion board/forum will also be required.
